If I Lived Inside a Fishbowl

I love to write children's poems as much as I love to read them. I loved poetry when I was a child and enjoyed reading fun and silly poems to my children when they were young. I'd love to put together a book of children's book of poetry in the future that included poems that both kids and parents could enjoy.

Living in the Moment

Love can be a beautiful thing, especially if you can slow down time long enough to truly experience the moment.

Inspired by the Chill of Winter

I wrote this poem yesterday. My daughter said it reminded her of the movie Frozen and my son says that he thinks I write so many winter poems because I live in Canada. I haven't seen the movie Frozen yet, but I think my son may be on to something. It's been a freezing cold winter here in Ontario. Of course this poem isn't just about the cold, it's about the painful chill of unrequited love.
